Magic Audio FX Editor

**Purpose**
Magic Audio FX Editor allows you to manipulate audio files with VST3 plugins without needing a traditional Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) such as Ableton Live or FL Studio. It also supports batch processing—so you can apply your VST3 plugin configurations to multiple audio files simultaneously.

The software originated from a need to handle numerous loops generated by LoopAnalyzer and to fill a gap left by certain standalone applications no longer offered by other companies. During testing, Magic Audio FX Editor has worked reliably with many VST3 plugins, but compatibility with every possible plugin cannot be guaranteed.

Getting Started

** When closing the Programm, please make sure ALL plugins are closed using “Close Plugin Editor” **

1. **Load Audio Files**
– Select one or multiple audio files to load. These will appear in the **Track List** (upper section).

2. **Load VST3 Plugins**
– Choose your preferred VST3 plugins. They will appear in the **Plugin List** (lower section).

Plugin Management

1. **Activating/Deactivating Plugins**
– Tick the checkbox next to a plugin to activate it. Untick it to deactivate.
– Activations and deactivations can happen in real-time (no need to stop audio playback).

2. **Opening/Closing Plugin Editors**
– Highlight a plugin in the list and click **Open Plugin Editor** to adjust its settings. Multiple editors can be open, though they may overlap.
– Highlight a plugin and click **Close Plugin Editor** to hide it. If you need to focus on a plugin editor, you can also bring it to the foreground via the taskbar.

3. **Plugin Chain Order**
– Click and drag plugins to reorder them in the chain. This changes the signal flow and thus the effect each plugin has on the audio.

4. **Removing Plugins**
– To remove a plugin entirely, first deactivate and close it, then click **Remove Plugin**.

5. **Saving and Loading Configurations**
– Save your favorite plugin chain(s) for future use by clicking **Save Configuration**.
– Load previously saved chains at any time with **Load Configuration**.

Track Management

1. **Playing and Stopping Audio**
– Highlight a track in the **Track List**, then click **Play Selected** or **Stop Selected**.

2. **Removing a Track**
– Highlight the desired track and click **Remove Track**.

3. **Batch Processing**
– Tick the checkboxes next to the audio file(s) you wish to export.
– Click **Process Selected** to render the chosen audio files through your current plugin chain. You’ll be prompted to choose an export location.

Additional Notes

– **Ozone’s AI** is not compatible for direct analysis within Magic Audio FX Editor. You’ll need to dial in its settings manually.
– **Plugin Overlap**: All plugin windows appear on the top-left corner of the screen. While they may overlap, you can toggle them on/off or find them in the taskbar.
– **Future Improvements**: The interface for plugin windows is a work in progress, and future releases may include a more elegant layout solution.

Menu

– **Light/Dark Mode**: Switch between light and dark interface themes.
– **Help/Manual**: Opens this manual for reference.

**I hope Magic Audio FX Editor streamlines your workflow, whether you’re processing a single track or hundreds of loops.**
Happy editing!
